Ms Yellow vase is at it again! She looks very officious in this still life with her hands on her hips. A massive bouquet of snapdragons and foxgloves is sprouting out of her head, while a pile of golden colored meyer lemons and kumquats look on. Vibrating color here plus a great deal of surface texture...this is oil on canvas 24x10, started on Saturday and completed just now. My thanks go out to the venders at the downtown market who set up on Saturday mornings. The gloriouw produce and outrageously beautiful flowers make me want to paint about 24 hours per day.
