Market Bounty

Finished this one yesterday. It is 24x30 oil on canvas. This still life (which is not very still I might add) is of the flowers I purchased at the market in Cathedral Square last Saturday. I am happy with the way the bottom of the picture feels solid, while the top is wandering off in every direction. If feels like it is ready to take off. I am personally ready to take off! I turned in my grades today for the multitudes of students I had this semester. I love teaching but I hate the semester's end. I can feel the stress leaving my mind and body as I type. This is going to a show in Nashville. Have a swell day! MEK
